Dr. Ronald Komich
Dr. Ronald J. Komich graduated from the School of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Georgia in 1967. He served 4 years in the US Army Veterinary Corps, R&D Command. In 1971, Ron joined Greensboro Veterinary Hospital and became owner and director in 1985. As past president of the North Carolina Veterinary Medical Association, Ron was elected NC Veterinarian of the Year in 1986. He served as an AAHA area director for many years.
Ron is a charter member of VMG 1. He has served as President and Chairman of the Board of Veterinary Study Groups, Inc since its inception. He has been active in the formation of several veterinary management study groups.
Memberships include: AVMA, AAHA, AAFP, and the NCVMA. Ron is active in Summit Rotary. He and his wife, Stephanie, reside in Greensboro, NC. They have 3 adult children and 6 grandchildren. Their pets include Golden Retrievers, cats and horses. Ron enjoys skiing, golf, fly-fishing and time with his grand kids. His areas of professional interest include soft tissue surgery, medicine and practice management.
