Preferred Partner Agreements

The Strategic Opportunities Committee (SOC) is a member-based group whose mission is to explore commercial opportunities available for Veterinary Management Group (VMG) members.

A primary objective of the SOC is to enter long-term, win-win relationships with industry partners who demonstrate a tangible commitment to VMG members and who operate in a manner consistent with the vision and values of our organization.

 

The SOC is comprised of an Executive Chairman, one representative from each VMG and a Director of Business Development. These members meet on a regular basis in person or by teleconference to discuss business planning, industry issues and new opportunities.

 

Working on behalf of VMG members, the SOC has made possible substantial discounts on a wide range of products and services across every major therapeutic, diagnostic, nutrition or equipment category in the veterinary industry. Opportunities have also been developed in non-traditional segments such as home-delivery, financial services and merchant credit card processing.

 

The Strategic Opportunities Committee has worked long hours, primarily on a volunteer basis, to provide the best possible options for members. Their work is a dynamic, ongoing activity and expected to lead to greater value and multiple opportunities for our members and preferred partners over time.
