What Is VSG?
Veterinary Study Groups, Inc., (VSG) is the umbrella corporation for a family of thirteen Veterinary Management Groups (VMG) comprised of approximately 285 members and more than 400 practices located throughout the United States and Canada. The flagship study group, Veterinary Management Group 1 (VMG-1), was established in 1984. Recognizing the material benefits to its members and their practices, this group formed VSG, Inc. and developed Policies and Procedures needed for subsequent groups to form and succeed.
The VMGs, each consisting of 16 to 22 members, meet semiannually, in a retreat-type atmosphere conducive to business. The groups candidly and honestly share information, data, management experiences, ideas, resources, problems, solutions, successes, and failures. Mutual support and motivation help to challenge each member to attain a higher level of success as practice managers and leaders.
