Dr. Chloe Magaldino
Dr. Chloe Magaldino graduated from the University Of Florida College Of Veterinary Medicine in 1992. She joined the team of Sanlando Springs Animal Hospital in Longwood, FL in 1993 and within 7 years she was 1 of 4 partners of 3 companion animal hospitals in central FL. In 2007, Dr. Magaldino became the sole owner of the 6 doctor practice Sanlando Springs Animal Hospital. She also served her local veterinary community as Secretary/Treasurer of the Central FL Veterinary Medical Association.
Aside from her own professional interest in general internal medicine practice and surgery, her zeal for mentoring newer associate veterinarians and paraprofessional staff expanded SSAH’s success. She knew that cultivating a team of inspiring leaders within the hospital was a win-win for all. As the business grew, so did her interest in becoming more efficient and savvy in the financial details. The days of “practice great medicine, treat the patients and clients well, and the business will take care of itself” certainly worked for many years, but she realized there was so much more opportunity to be even better.
Dr. Magaldino joined the VMG organization in 2012 as an Executive Committee member and Strategic Opportunity Committee representative with the inception of VMG 22. In her words, “it was literally a life changing decision that I am immensely thankful to have made, my only regret is that I did not join sooner”. She retired from clinical practice in 2020 and has enjoyed her time with her husband Mike RV camping, paddle boarding, hiking, biking, and being a devout Peloton groupie. Her daughter Alexandra will be attending medical school beginning in the fall of 2022.
In retirement Dr. Magaldino realized that she still wanted to be a part of the organization that so influentially shaped the latter half of her professional career. In January 2022 she joined the VSG team as the Director of Group Development.
